They also donated carbon sleeping mats and additional heating briquettes to the Daesan-eup Administrative Welfare Center to help ensure that disadvantaged neighbors could stay warm during the winter. Furthermore, in collaboration with the Chungnam Seosan Regional Self-Support Center in Korea, the plant organized and delivered winter care packages worth $4,200 (₩6 million) to elderly households in Seosan city.

What made this activity possible was the ‘Twin-Angel Fund,’ voluntarily raised by employees of LG Chem’s Daesan Plant. The final activity is LG Chem Daesan Plant’s sharing of 3,750 kg of fresh rice to the Seosan City Welfare Foundation. 375 bags of rice, each weighing 10 kg, are ready for distribution to vulnerable groups within the local community.
